When raising the height of the Yamaha Bolt using longer rear shocks, front fork extensions, or moving your kickstand forward using forward controls you may find that they bike begins to have a very mean lean. This can make getting the bike off of the side stand much more difficult and make it feel uneasy when placing it onto the stand.
The MDU Kickstand Extension Kit comes with a 3 inch extension for both the kickstand and the spring. At 3 inches on a diagonal stand it should better level out any bike that is raised overall by about 1.5 to 4 inches (effectiveness of course varies by height). The extension is added to the top end of the kickstand where it makes the attachment to the bike. Made from cold-rolled steel and powder-coated in black most will barely be able to tell it is there. The spring extension and included hardware are all 316 stainless steel.
