Description
Thunderhouse Moto’s Lightning Bolt Stunt Bars. These bars are perfect for anyone looking to protect their bike from damage; from early learning stunters to the most seasoned. Built out of chromoly tubing and mild steel bracketing, these are the best option for minimal weight and maximum protection. With a tensile strength of 90,000 PSI, the chromoly bar is more than capable of sustaining even the most gruesome of hits. Built for easy installation, with easy to replace sliders, they maintain the integrity of the motorcycle frame. With the main components such as the chassis and engine being protected when dropped, we can confidently say this is the best protection you can come by at the highest quality available in the market today.
Note that some photos show the bar in white, these are professionally powder coated in Black. You may also see an attached skid plate which is included only at an additional price as an add-on.
An additional skid plate is available but not included with the bar.
The 3.0 version has a couple different improvements including tabs for mounting of the skid plate as well as an adjusted position for mounting the skid plate so it does not cover the oil drain bolt.

Question
Tristan –
Will these fit with 6″ forward controls? The wing brackets definitely look like they’d be real close to the brake and clutch pedals, and any frame spacer at the front would have to be changed out, at least on mine…

Unfortunately these are not currently compatible with the forward controls. It is possible you may be able to drill holes in them and tap them with the correct thread to be able to mount the controls onto them. You would then use the rods from the forward control kit. The owner of Thunder House Moto is thinking about how he can provide the option to mount onto his bars, but we don’t have timing on that development.
